EnergyMixx has secured concessions to build electricity generation plants with nominal power of approximately 1000 MW.

More than 380 MW are in an advanced development stage (signed and pre-construction phase) and aprroximately 500 MW are under development. The advanced projects should lead to an EBITDA of EUR 124 million at full production. Furthermore, additional projects with a potential of several hundred megawatt are currently under evaluation.

EnergyMixx has realized these first projects in Italy. This country is probably the most attractive energy market in Europe since there exists a structural energy deficit of about 15%. Italy does not permit nuclear energy generation and simultaneously has committed to implement the Kyoto protocol. Thus a significant contribution of renewable energy to electricity production is a must. This is supported by the Government in the form of green certificates.
